Libronix DLS Diagnostic Logging

Diagnostic logging is useful when an error or unexpected behavior occurs in the program that is unknown or difficult to resolve. Generally a Logos support technician will ask a customer to generate a log file and send it in for review.

  1. Quit Libronix DLS.
  2. Open a Finder window and navigate to Macintosh HD/Library/Application Support/Libronix DLS/Scripts on the startup volume.
  3. Double-click EnableLogging. Watch the Dock for the Logging icon to appear. When it goes away, restart Libronix DLS. Leave the Finder window open to the Scripts folder.
  4. Perform the actions that cause the error or behavior to occur. Afterward, quit Libronix (unless the error caused Libronix to crash and it's already closed).
  5. In the Scripts folder, double-click DisableLogging. Close that window.
  6. Send an email to the technican requesting the log file, or to macsupport@logos.com, attaching the LibronixDLS.log file. The log is found in your user or home directory under /Library/Logs.
