Uninstalling and Reinstalling Logos Bible Software for Mac

To repair a current installation of the Libronix DLS, it is not necessary to remove the program first. Just insert the Logos Bible Software: mac DVD and run the installer.

If you want to remove the program, but not your licenses, resources, collections or workspaces, follow directions in Part 1.

If you want to remove all traces of the program from your system, follow directions in Part 2.

Uninstall Libronix DLS

Part 1 - to remove the program, but not licenses, resources or user-defined files

  1. Quit Libronix DLS.
  2. Open a Finder window and click on Applications under Places on the left side of the window (or click on Macintosh HD under Devices and open Applications).
  3. Drag the Libronix DLS application to the Trash bin.
  4. If you copied the Libronix DLS application to the Dock, and you no longer want it there, drag it to the Trash bin to remove it from the Dock.
  5. Empty the Trash, if you are sure you do not want to restore the files.

Part 2 - to remove all traces of the program from your system, including licenses, resources and user-defined files

NOTE: This should only be done when you wish to eradicate all traces of Libronix DLS from your system. There should be no need to do this to "fix" a broken installation. If this is the case just rerun the installer.

  1. Quit Libronix DLS.
  2. Click here to download the LibronixUninstaller1.8.zip file. Do not continue to step 3 if you do not want to remove licenses, resources, or user-defined files.
  3. Double-click Libronix Uninstaller 1.8.app in the Download window. The Libronix Uninstaller 1.8 window will display the following information:
